Is having freedom in day-to-day life and space to be yourself a bit unrealistic? What would you do to keep your boundaries in place if you knew that there lays all the freedom and space you need and want in life?
Boundaries are necessary for your mental, physical, and emotional health.
It’s knowing your values, needs and limits and honouring them by communicating and executing.
Boundaries hold a space for you to be YOU 🤸♂️
Around the same time, a few of my clients came up with the idea of a bubble.
Imagined that they have around themselves a bubble space which separates them from the outside world
Through that bubble, they could filter what type of information and influence comes in and out.
And what they want to keep in or remove from their mental, physical, and emotional space.
Within that bubble, they created a space for themselves to be authentic.
And found a way to honour and express their needs and values.
That exercise and process of working on boundaries helped them to realise that not only do they have the freedom in life and space for expressing their authenticity.
But also:
📍They realised what they wanted to say YES or NO to
📍They became resilient and started to face their challenges.
📍They made courageous decisions in their personal and professional growth.
📍They moved towards their goals and achieved them faster.
So
If you imagine that your boundaries create a freedom bubble around you
What would you create in the bubble space? What would you remove from it, and what would you invite to that space?
