The reason that can prevent you from overcoming burnout

Is the belief and repeating sound of your thoughts:


🚫 I can’t overcome it, I tried, and I failed. I don’t believe I can change.


I heard it recently in one of the conversations,


And that was said with so much conviction and resignation that gave me a shiver.


Burnout is a set of beliefs and thoughts about ourselves and our lives that don't support our health, well-being and development.


Plus fear, stress, and anxiety help to run the show.


So, often we may find it challenging to make a decision or take an action that is good for us.


That continues to have an impact on our mindset and can narrow down our thinking to:


❌ I can’t, so I won’t attitude.


If that sounds familiar to you...


There are ways to start changing it.


🗣 Coaching or therapy are powerful tools that can help you address burnout patterns on a deeper level and prevent you from falling into the burnout cycle in the future


But to move the needle even today,


Start very, very small.


Set yourself little goals, little steps for every day that you can add to your health and wellbeing kit.


1. Identify an area you would like to change.


2. Identify one habit that doesn't serve you.


3. Find the replacement for the habit you know will serve your health and wellbeing.


4. Break that habit into little steps that you can do daily.


💡 Once, I heard a good example of that 'little steps' approach.


The goal for someone was to start jogging,


So the decision was to break down that goal to:


Day 1 - prepare a jogging kit.


Day 2 - wake up 30 min earlier.


Day 3 - get up and wear a jogging outfit.


Day 4 - go outside for a 15 min walk.


Day 5 - go for 15 min run... etc.


💡 You get the concept...


P. S. You may feel some resistance when you start creating a new habit - it's ok, and it's normal!


But if you commit to little steps every day


You will be amazed over time how that helps you to create a new lifestyle.
